We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing Brooklyn practice. You’ll work closely with our doctors and team to deliver exceptional care and ensure every patient has a positive experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet, seat, and prepare patients for treatment.
- Assist dentists during procedures with professionalism and efficiency.
- Record accurate treatment notes in electronic patient records.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas.
- Deliver clear oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions.
- Take patient records, photos, and impressions as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, well-stocked clinic.
What You’ll Need:
- Certified Dental Assistant license in NY State, or in the process of obtaining it.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment.
- Familiarity with infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic patient records.
- Good hand–eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to meet physical demands (bending, sitting, standing).
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
