We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong financial communication skills who thrives in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in/out patients in a professional, friendly manner.
- Present treatment plans and explain associated costs clearly and confidently.
- Develop and manage patient-friendly financial arrangements and payment plans.
- Handle insurance verifications, eligibility, claims, and follow-ups.
- Collect balances and ensure timely payments.
- Schedule appointments for maximum productivity while accommodating last-minute changes.
- Answer patient inquiries in person, over the phone, and by email.
- Maintain accurate patient financial records and track treatment progress.
- Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative team members.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a dental, medical, or patient finance-related role.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans and billing procedures.
- Experience with financial coordination, collections, and patient-facing communications.
- Proficient in general office software; experience with Dentrix is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor.
